Recycling how to...
Check your plastics. Warren County recycles only plastics with a number 1 or 2. Find the number within a triangle located on the bottom of containers.
Lids of plastic bottles should go in the trash.
The newspaper containers can also be used for magazines (even glossy ones), school paper, junk mail and stationery.
Save small household batteries in a bag and when it is full, recycle those batteries.
Grocery bags and newspaper bags can be taken to Kroger and Walmart for recycling.
Flatten cardboard boxes. Cardboard includes cereal and other food boxes.
